What it is

The cold you brace for, the heat you sink into.

A cold plunge and a hot tub, right next to each other. Use one on its own, or move between the two — that back-and-forth is what people mean by contrast therapy.

Someone walks you through your first cold plunge, so you know exactly what’s coming before you get in. Two or three minutes in the cold is a full go — you don’t have to tough it out longer.

People come for the ache after training, and for how clear-headed and awake they feel for hours afterwards.

It’s also the cold-and-hot core of our Nervous System Reset — most people come in wound up and leave calmer.

The first thirty seconds are the hard part. It gets easier fast — usually by the third or fourth visit.

Reviews

Five stars, eleven times over.

A perfect 5.0 on Google. A little of what people say after a visit.

★★★★★

Kettering's newest hidden wellness gem — private, quiet and serene. After the sound bed I felt like I was floating on a cloud. It's why I got a membership on the spot.

The best experience. I used the red light, the cold plunge, the infrared sauna and the sound bed — all excellent. The place is beautiful and the accommodations are luxurious.

Questions

Before you book.

Do I need a membership?

No. It’s $40 as a single visit and you can book it without joining anything. Members use one credit instead.

How long is a session?

A session runs about 30 minutes, and you can move between the cold plunge and the hot tub as much as you like in that time.

What should I bring?

Just swimwear — towels are provided. Someone talks you through your first cold plunge, so you’ll know exactly what’s coming before you get in.

How long do I stay in the cold?

Two to three minutes is a full session. You don’t have to last longer than that, and the first thirty seconds are the part that gets easier fastest.

Can I book it as part of a protocol?

Yes. It’s one of the stops in the Nervous System Reset and the Recovery Protocol, which sequence several services into a single visit.

How often should I do it?

It gets noticeably easier by the third or fourth visit, so most people find it more useful done regularly than as a one-off. If you’re coming in regularly, a membership works out cheaper than repeat single visits.

Hydrotherapy is part of two protocols.

A protocol sequences several services into a single visit, in a set order. Hydrotherapy is one of the stops in both.
